Other Lesson Information 

Lessons are a half an hour or an hour. Lessons are scheduled weekly, at established times. Please arrive on time.  If you arrive 5 minutes after your scheduled time, your lesson will be 5 minutes short.  I will only wait 10 minutes past your lesson time for you to arrive, and the same courtesy is extended to you if I should not show on time.

Private Studio performances and other group events are scheduled by mutual convenience, usually on weekend afternoons. Charges for these extra events may incur.

My private studio teaching schedule divides into semesters. Autumn session starts the first week of regular school classes in September through late December.  Winter/Spring session starts beginning of January through May. Summer lessons are a possibility, however I encourage my students to look into being a part of the local summer arts camps.

Health

A ticklish throat or sniffles may not necessarily be reason to miss a lesson. There are many things we can work on that circumvent such problems. Some technical work can actually help a head cold. You may also learn healthier ways to sing when you are sick that you might never learn if you don’t attend your lesson.  Lessons may be abbreviated in these circumstances to keep a voice healthy.  Severe illness, such as would have a student under a doctor's care or which is highly contagious, is good reason to postpone.
