Elizabeth Wotring-Nelson is a private voice instructor and music teacher whose main objective is to help you find your true voice using healthy vocal techniques and unique approaches to exploring music in order to foster a lifelong love of music.  Whether you are a preschool student or an adult, there is a place for you with Nelson Studios.

 Elizabeth Wotring-Nelson teaches private voice in Oakland, MD and Fairmont, WV (Fairmont State University Theatre Voice Instructor & Community Music Program teacher) and teaches preschool music classes at Sacred Meadow Montessori Children's House in Accident, MD.  She holds a B.A. Degree in Church Music from Greenville College and a Master's Degree in Musical Theatre Performance from The Boston Conservatory. Her performing experience includes years of traveling and recording with musical ensembles, doing theatre, and working with and creating youth arts programs across the country. She is currently a resident company member of Theatre on the Lake in McHenry, MD, performing in their summerstock productions and co-founded, with another company member, Theatre On The Lake’s School of Theatrical Arts, which offers performance and acting classes during the school year and an apprenticeship program with the theatre company during the summer. Elizabeth is also the owner of Kindermusik with Miss Lizzie & Friends, sponsored by Landon's Library. In Preston County, she works with Preston County Summer Theatre and is a master teacher at the Preston County Summer Arts Camp. Elizabeth is married to Andrew Nelson and has a daughter Ingrid Jane and a son Rowan.
